Jeremy Brown: an exceptional photography and filmmaking talent who is rapidly becoming an influence on the scene

by Michael Strickland

“What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce," said Karl Lagerfeld, a German fashion designer, artist and photographer based in Paris.

Many have heard of famous photographers like  Ansel Adams, who's landscapes are stunning; Yousuf Karsh, who  has taken photographs that tell a story;  Robert Capa, and his many famous war-time photographs.

But word is spreading about an exceptional talent in Boise, Idaho who is rapidly becoming an influence on the scene.

WHAT IS BROWNLAGER PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMMAKING?

"Well we are a smaller home based company in the beautiful city of Boise, ID," writes owner Jeremy Brown. "We specialize in all levels of effort of film and photography. In photography, we specialize in weddings, engagements, glamour, portrait, boudoir, business photos, graduation photos. We go above and beyond to make sure we capture each moment to your precise specifications. We will work with you on creating not only the perfect moment, but the perfect photo."

Jeremy Brown
I started out in the film industry around Boise, ID. I did small independent films and made quite a few friends and contacts. It was one day I decided to go out and take some pictures that I realized I could enjoy storytelling on both aspects with my camera. Thats when I started this business. I believe to capture amazing photos you must be able to tell a story. A wedding, is the story of two people in love, the friends that support them, and the family that cherishes them, we should capture each moment of that.

So let me share my passion for storytelling with you and create you photos that you could only dream of. Let us represent your special moments and propell your pictures beyond anything you've ever seen. Let's bring back art to photography and let you be that living, breathing moment in time that makes you the art.
Brown's work is stunning. He achieves a wonderful level of contrast and possesses a style that makes him a natural. If a picture is worth 1,000 words, Brown's photos even give us a few added thoughts. They capture the seasons of humanity and more, and really communicate with people. The landscape photos on the Brownlager website make your eyes travel over them and delight and marvel at the variety of appealing elements. The work draws in the viewer's field of vision and encompasses a great deal of the scene. They highlight the most alluring details.
